Superintendent's Message
Superintendent’s Message:
Welcome to the Crestview Local School District website. I am Superintendent Dan Hill, I have
been with the district in various roles since 2006. My wife Lynn, who also teaches at Crestview
Elementary, and I reside in the district. We are the parents of three boys who are all Crestview
graduates, and are now also the proud grandparents to 5 future Rebels!
Our district is located in northeast Columbiana County and covers thirty eight square miles. Our
staff educates almost 1,200 students in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade, as well as an
on-site pre-school hosted by our Columbiana County ESC.
Students at Crestview have a lot of opportunities during their time here. We have
extracurriculars for all interests! From our drama department, choir and band, to robotics and
technology to boys and girls athletics and more, we truly have something for everyone.
We believe in preparing our students for their next stages of life, we start with hands-on, real
world experiences with our elementary students and continue with evidence based learning
through middle school and high school. We have great relationships with Columbiana, Stark and
Mahoning county business partners who aid our students in these experiences.
Our high school students have a variety of educational experiences to choose from to help them
prepare for their next steps. We offer career based education, college credit plus programs as
well as opportunities for our students to attend our local career and technical centers.
In 2024 we will also break ground on our brand new, state of the art K-12 facility. The project
funded both locally by our community, as well as the OFCC will be an amazing opportunity for
our students to be educated in a facility that will revolutionize how our students interact and
learn with one another.
Thank you for your interest and Go Rebels!
Sincerely,
Daniel C. Hill, Superintendent
